To seek the failure of an enemy is one thing, to seek the failure of our President is another. We may disagree with his policies. We can take our case to him and congress. To seek is failure means that we, as a people, are going to suffer. A failed economy is just what the enemies of this country want. Wouldn't it be far wiser to present a better plan, and to argue for it. This is a democracy where people have the right to make a difference. To seek failure means that you have no better alternative. In the world of political action, I long ago learned that those who seek the negative do not have a positive alternative should they win their cause.

Failure is not always harmful. Failure to spend 3 trillion of our [great] grand childrens money is not harmful. failure to adopt socialized medicine (aka Canada, Great Britain, etc.) is not harmful Failure to destroy the auto, oil, banking, (ad nauseum) industries is not harmful. Failure to destroy our 2nd amendment rights is not harmful. I could go on but I hope you get the idea.

Failure in any sense hurts our country. The last thing we need now is a deeper and longer recession. As a Vet, I fought for our freedom, and would do so again. I still don't like Rush Limbaugh.

Rush Limbaugh did not say he wanted the president to fail. Talk about parsing words. He wants his policies to fail. So do a lot of us. We still like our freedom and don't want to become a socialist country.
